Bachmann 4-4-0 "American" and "Jupiter" Steam Locomotive

Use #33 Coupler tender only. Two types of mounts are found one without centerpost and one with centerpost. Cut off centerpost flush with mounting surface. Drill and tap either mount for 2-56 screw. Trim or file pocket sides to a taper to match the sides of the #33 draft gear box. Trim until box fits over hole and sits level on mounting surface. Assemble the #33 coupler with lid on top and torsion spring on bottom. Place coupler assembly in pocket and secure assembly with 2-56 screw. Check for correct coupler height, function, and clearance and make any adjustments necessary.
