   Remove the original coupler and retain the screw. Trim .275" off the side walls of the coupler pocket.

   Assemble the coupler according to the instructions. Carefully file the "steps" that are on the sides of the draft gear box shank. File just enough to fit the shank snuggly into the pocket.

   Fit the coupler assembly over the post and into the pocket then secure it with the original screw and a large enough washer (or combination of washers) to cover the hole in the shank.
