Standing orders are for those who want the ease and convenience of a set number of each RTR freight cars & don't want to have to take the time or worry about placing Pre-Orders every month. Standing orders are shipped prior to general availability of our monthly releases and insure that your customers will always get the new releases before they are sold out. No calls needed, no additions to the order, no worries.

We announce the road names & paint schemes for release of our RTR freight cars 3 months in advance. This is so you can reserve (Pre-Order) the cars ahead of time. Standing orders are considered first, but then our preliminary pre-orders determine how many cars we produce, so that everyone gets the cars they want. So you want to be sure to get your Pre-Orders in early, before we have assigned production quantities, and begin the production process. We pre-set a number of extras, but once the extras are pre-ordered, late pre-orders and general release sales of the cars can be subject to "OUT-OF-STOCK".

We try to contact you when your Pre-Order is ready for shipping and to verify your desired number of cars. This is a great time to think about your Kadee stock and be able to save on some shipping charges by combining a stock order with your Pre-Order cars. If you have not heard from us about your Pre-Ordered cars within 10 days of the release date, please contact us (phone, fax, e-mail).
