WARNINGWARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small Parts - Not for children under 14 years.

CERTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE

Kadee® Quality Products company manufacturers more than 500 different products in our White City, Oregon plant. Each product is made in our plant and ARE NOT TOYS, AND ARE NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY CHILDREN UNDER AGE OF 14. These products are Model Railroad Equipment and Accessories intended for use by adults.

On August 18th, 2008 Congress enacted the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA). This act requires a reduction in the amount of lead and phthalates in products, third party testing and certification, mandatory product and advertising labeling, and additional consumer safety regulations.

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, Kadee® Quality Products does not make any products with lead and phthalate content.

Starting on December 12, 2008, all retailers are required to put warning labels on any website from which consumers can directly purchase toys and games that have choking hazard labels. Beginning on February 10, 2009, retailers are required to put the same warning labels on any printed catalogs or advertising from which direct sales may be made. While none of our couplers, cars or accessories are targeted toward children aged 3-6 years, several of our products do contain small parts. We have begun the daunting task of affixing warning labels to all products and changing packaging to ensure the highest levels of safety and compliance with CPSIA, we are requesting all retailers who sell our products to place the hazard labels on any websites or printed materials from which customers can directly purchase any of our product that contain small parts.

For Safety and conformity, all products should be labeled. In general, all warnings should be: (1) prominently displayed; (2) easily visible in contrasting color; (3) printed in the English language; and (4) sized similarly to other typography in the advertisement or website. For more guidance on the new labeling requirements, please see the Consumer Product Safety Commission's website (https://www.cpsc.gov/about/cpsia/cpsia.html) and consult with your advisors.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our compliance with the CPSIA. We appreciate your continued support of Kadee® Quality Products Co.
